Peter King is a senior writer for Sports Illustrated and has been with the magazine since 1989. He is one of the country's premier pro football writers and his weekly "Monday Morning Quarterback" column has become a staple for all football fans. King is part of NBC's Sunday Night Football studio team and also was on HBO's Inside the NFL. King has won many awards throughout his career, including four Associated Press Sports Editors awards for excellence in sports journalism. He has also written numerous books, including Inside the Helmet: A Player's-Eye View of Pro Football, which discusses the inner lives and jobs of some of the NFL's biggest names.

John Madden

Pro Football Hall of Famer John Madden has been in broadcasting since 1979 and currently serves as the lead analyst for NBC's Sunday Night Football. At just 32, he became the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. In his 10 seasons, he posted a regular-season record of 103-32-7 and won Super Bowl XI over the Minnesota Vikings. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006, and is also known for his football video game and for traveling the country on his Madden Cruiser bus since he's afraid to fly.

Rich Gannon, who spent 17 years in the NFL, was named the 2002 league MVP by the Associated Press while leading the Oakland Raiders to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXVII. During his six seasons with the Raiders, from 1999-2004, he was named to four Pro Bowls, won two Pro Bowl MVP awards and was a two-time first-team All-Pro selection. Prior to playing for Oakland, Gannon was under center for the Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 1987 NFL Draft after an All-American, record-setting career with the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens. He retired following the 2004 season and became a game analyst for network television in 2005.

Marty Schottenheimer first became an NFL head coach with the Cleveland Browns midway through the 1984 season and remained with the Browns through 1988, guiding the team to four playoff appearances, three division titles and two trips to the AFC Championship Game. In 1989 he was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs and recorded an impressive 101-58-1 regular season record that included seven playoff appearances and three division titles in 10 years. He returned to the sidelines, coaching the Washington Redskins through the 2001 campaign before taking the reigns of the San Diego Chargers from 2002 through the 2006 season.

In 21 seasons as an NFL head coach, Schottenheimer compiled a record of 200-126-1 and led his teams to the playoffs 13 times. He is ranked third on the list of most playoffs reached by an NFL head coach since 1960. Men who coached under Schottenheimer become successful NFL head coaches themselves, including two Super Bowl winners, Bill Cowher and Tony Dungy.

Randy Cross is a 13-year NFL veteran and three-time All-Pro (1981, 1983 and 1984) and Pro Bowler (1981, 1982 and 1984). He played center and guard for the San Francisco 49ers where he won three Super Bowl championships (1982, 1985 and 1989). He was the 49ers' Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1986, 1987 and 1988 and was voted the 49ers' Man of the Year in 1985 for his work in the community. A two-time All-America at UCLA, Cross played on the 1976 Rose Bowl Champion Bruins team.

As a television personality, Cross has been an NFL game analyst in the announce booth and in the studio for CBS, where he covered NFC Divisional Playoffs and Championship games and Super Bowls XXIV & XXVI. For NBC Sports, Cross served as an analyst for NFL broadcasts, selected Notre Dame games and the 1995 Fiesta Bowl and as a reporter for Super Bowl XXXII.

Adam Schein hosts The SIRIUS Blitz and during football season, he hosts SIRIUS' Sunday pre-game program, The SIRIUS Tailgate Show. He also serves as host for SIRIUS' live NFL Draft coverage. He was the first host heard on SIRIUS NFL Radio when the channel debuted August 2, 2004. In addition to his work on SIRIUS, Schein hosts Loudmouths with Chris Carlin for SportsNet New York and appears on the station’s Jets Postgame Live. He writes a daily NFL column for FoxSports.com and provides video reports. Schein’s previous work included being a host on WFAN Radio, serving as a weekly guest on Fox Sports Net. Adam has also filled in inside The Brickhouse for 'JT the Brick'. Schein graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1999 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He won the John Bayliss Award for Excellence in Radio Journalism in 1998 and 1999.

Jack has covered motorsports since his debut on ABC's Wide World of Sports' telecast of the National Championship Sprint Car Racing in 1984, and reported on the U.S. Grand Prix Motocross Championships, the Grand Prix of Monaco and the Indianapolis 500. For the last 22 years he has appeared on ABC's IndyCar, IRL, NASCAR Winston Cup and International Race of Champions (IROC) coverage.

Dan's first job out of high school was working for WNEW-AM Radio producing The Sports Connection, a sports talk show hosted by Richard Neer and Rick Cerone. He then went on to write for the sports trivia game show Grandstand,before moving on to work as a field producer for Sportschannel America.

After serving as an associate producer for Around the NFL on the MSG Network, Dan started his latest venture, a publication called Jets Confidential. The weekly newspaper about the New York Jets features his "Whispers" column and has become a must read for Jets fans. Dan has also covered the Jets for New York One, and has been a regular contributor to MSG Sportsdesk.

McGovern started his career in sports broadcasting at Sports Phone in New York City as an announcer in 1996. He furthered his sports writing career in 1998 as the Editor-in-Chief of Giants News Magazine, before becoming The Sports Network's Director of NFL Programming and National Columnist from 1999-2004. McGovern also anchored sportscasts for 1010 WINS news radio in NYC, covering the Giants' run to Super Bowl XXXV and the Yankees' victory over the Mets in the 2000 Subway Series. McGovern became a part of history when he joined SIRIUS NFL Radio for its first broadcast in 2004.

A sixth-round selection by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1994, Miller threw for 6,387 yards and 36 TDs during his nine-year pro career (Pittsburgh, 1995-96; Atlanta, 1997; Chicago, 1998-2002; New England, 2004). In his first career start against Minnesota in 1999, he completed 34 of 48 throws for 422 yards—the fourth-highest single-game total in Chicago history. Miller led the Bears to the 2001 playoffs with an 11-2 regular season record as a starter, while establishing career highs in pass attempts (395), pass completions (228), passing yards (2,299) and TDs (13).

Miller still ranks among Michigan State's all-time passing leaders, where he was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection from 1990-92. Miller has returned to Michigan State football as the color analyst for the Spartan's broadcasts.

Papa's broadcasting career got off to a fast start when the legendary Marty Glickman took him under his wing at WNEW-FM in NYC. Soon afterward, Papa joined Sports Channel America as an NHL studio host and commentator for boxing, track & field and Notre Dame basketball. In 1992, he established himself as a serious player in the world of sports journalism by receiving the New York State Associated Press Sportscaster of the Year Award. Though widely known as the radio play-by-play man of the Giants for the past ten years, Papa has also covered boxing on ESPN and the Olympics.

A two-time All-American at the University of Southern California, Ryan remains the all-time leading tackler in school history. The former team captain led the Trojans to three Rose Bowls and holds the team season record for sacks with 20. After his phenomenal college football career, Tim spent four years with the Chicago Bears (1990-94). As a broadcaster, Ryan's impressive resume includes several years doing pre- and post-game work for USC football and hosting the "Gameday Show" for the Sportsfan Radio Network Ryan has also covered several Super Bowls and college bowls for various FOX Sports Radio Network affiliates around the country. Today, he brings his trademark voice and energy to SIRIUS NFL Radio.

Often called the best tight end to ever play the game, the always outspoken Shannon Sharpe won two Super Bowls with Denver and one with Baltimore during his 14-year, Hall of Fame-worthy career. He retired as the NFL's career leader in receptions (815) and yards (10,060) for tight ends, passing Jerry Smith for most touchdowns with 62 in his last season. He was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection.

Besides his Sunday football marathon duties at SIRIUS, Steve has been morning drive sports anchor at WINS since 1990, and his live updates can be heard throughout the year covering all the major sporting events in New York.

Steve's coverage of the Ranger's Stanley Cup Title in 1994 and the Yankee's 1996 World Series Championship were the two most memorable moments in broadcasting.

His professional career began during his college days when he landed a job as an announcer at Sportsphone. From there, he accepted a job as Sports Director at WCFR Radio in Springfield, Vermont, where he picked up awards from the Associated Press as the State's Best Play-by-Play Announcer and Best Sportscaster. Steve has been the Sports Director at WFAS Radio and a sideline reporter and host of the locker room show for the Army Football Network.

olomon Wilcots joined CBS Sports as a game analyst for THE NFL ON CBS in 2001, and also reports on the NCAA Tournament. Wilcots currently is the host of NFL Playbook on the NFL Network. He's been the weekend sports anchor for WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, reported for ESPN's NFL coverage, and has worked as a studio anchor for Fox Sports Net's college football show. Wilcots was drafted in 1987 as an NFL eighth-round pick and played defensive back for the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers from 1987-92. Prior to the NFL, he played cornerback for Colorado, where he earned All-Big Eight honors and was the team captain his senior year.

Howard David has served as the play-by-play voice for numerous teams, including the NFL's New York Jets and Miami Dolphins and the NBA's New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics.
